ethan3
Where do you get eyes for your swimbaits? I have looked on some sites and I didnt know if they were for hard lures or soft lures. Also, how do you attach the eyes so they stay on good? Thanks
gone2long
Lurecraft has them as do many other suppliers, as for mounting most put them on then dip in clear plastic. I think most will work since your sealing them after you apply them.

Long Lake Lures
Where do you get eyes for your swimbaits? I have looked on some sites and I didnt know if they were for hard lures or soft lures. Also, how do you attach the eyes so they stay on good? Thanks I buy mine from Bryan at bustinbassbaits. Best prices I have seen so far. To put them in the eye sockets or even on a bait without a socket, you first degrease the socket by wiping it with rubbing alcohol. Let dry. Then, make a barrier by putting a little crazy glue on the socket surfaces. After it is dry, put the eyes in, then put a little clear nail polish over them to seal them. Works well but I would be interested to hear how others are doing it without dipping. Hope this helps, Dave

If it's the mold that resembles the basstrix minnow (#869), it's a 1/4" eye. Hope this helps, Dave
