cadman
Good looking jigs. How many pours did you get out of that mold? I know that the mold doesn't last forever. Edited October 10, 2010 by cadman
meallenjr
I got about 10 pours so far so good is there a better material out there this is just for personal use I know the DWP is cheap enough and easy to use I can make more Molds
cadman
Keep us posted if you remember how many you get before it cracks. I know guys have used car bondo as well. Both of these the bondo and the Durham have to be really dry before you use them, and I know after awhile from the heat of the lead being poured they do crack. I'm just curious how long it will last. meallenjr
I got 13 right now that I like but repoured about 3 times so if wouldn't be so picky that would be 39 jigs I think I might add fiberglass mesh to reinforce
airbrushextreme
I used some aluminum epoxy (similar to JB weld) and highside chem. red epoxy for my prototype jig molds before I had them made I got over 200 from my blade runner swimbait head knockoff and it never changed at all I tested the first and last head that I poured they weigh and look the same no expansion or cracking at all I actually use it a lot if I modify a mold and need to fill in anything on the mold
Fatman
meallenjr They look good. You said you were picky on some of them, what's wrong with the ones you were picky about. Could you post pics of those showing what's wrong with them Fatman
