jq hodges
When using a presto pot, is there specific molds that u can't pour into when using the nozzle on the pot? Can u pour using the nozzle into injection type molds? Please excuse the new guy question, just trying to learn a lil bit. Also does anyone have any videos demonstrating pouring from the presto pot? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. Dumb questions are the ones that never get asked. No injection molds need pressure to fill the cavity. Although I have never tried it I can see it wont fill the cavity before it starts gelling up. As for mold the are hand pour I have not had one that I could not fill with my pot. Hope this helps Frank
jq hodges
Thanks Frank, How can I tell an injection pour from a hand pour mold?
Frank
Thanks Frank, How can I tell an injection pour from a hand pour mold? Injection molds usually have one port to fill all of the cavitys. Hand pours have one port for each cavity. I do inject hand pours all the time maybe to get a laminate or swirl. I am sure there are some exceptions but for the most part this is true. When they are sold it usually say what type it is. Frank
