bassrecord
Has anyone made there own rattles for jigs Great question!!! Pyrex or plastic? How small can they be made? Where would someone get supplies? Pyrex or glass comes pointed ended and blunt ended. Blunt ends are wider than the cylinder. Pointed ends make the rattle too long. I've tried cutting, grinding and heating off the pointed ends with limited success. I'd like to be ableto home make cost-effective rattles! Looking for info. Thanks for posting this! John I used brass tubing put in a bb of two crimped the ends hit it with a little soldier. Honestly never could tell a rattle did any good.
