toadfrog
I've been kind of following the subject of hand pours. Personally I'm to shakey to Keep from causing flash that I have to trim. I hate trimming baits . I always wind up with my signature on them (blood). So I created this to help see what I was doing a little better. Its just a wood shadow box lined with tin foil a flip switch and a light I took from a plastic santa. ( Finally found a reason to destroy that thing) Then I took a piece of hi -temp glass out of a defunked bake oven door siliconed it on top for a cutting surface. The light could have been stronger but it works and santa had to go . See good ideas come from playing with the youngsters light brite. nova
My old tourny partner is like that. It's kind of neat to watch him do deadstick fishing because he shakes so much; catches fish with it though. His shaking gets even worse when we have a nice bag of fish. In other words, he shakes all the time; lol. Nothing wrong with "nutty ideas" because they're only nutty if they don't work. You've come up with some really good ideas. I like someone who thinks outside the box. That's how progress is made as far as I'm concerned. Keep up the good work. www.novalures.com
RayburnGuy
Well I have to say my hands are like my brain . Can't seem to stay in one spot long enough to do an effective job. I know where your coming from Toadfrog. When we start getting a little older and our eyesight isn't what it used to be and our hands won't stay as steady as they once did we are faced with new challenges to do the same tasks that were once very simple. Sometimes we only have two choices. Either give up something we love doing or find new ways of doing it. I like the choice you made so keep coming up with those "Nutty Ideas". Thanks to everyone who reads , replies or just sits and has a giggle . Thats my intent . Possibly to even stimulate someone into creating that one really great idea that will help someone else somewhere along lifes road.
