Mercury
For the guys that make the spinners, the top eye for the swivel seemed to be the hardest part of the bait to make. I ended up getting the round jaw'd needlenose to make the basic curl, then pad the jaws of my chanel locks to finish the crimp so the wire touches itself. Is that how you guys do it or do you have a wire bending tool to do this. If so is it also faster? I was using gama hooks and man theese things are sharp! I havent seen any hooks with a point that can compair to them. ie strike king, terminator etc. Even the mustad hooks I have arent anywhere as sharp. BTW Celt, how did you do in your tourney? Celticav
The round nose are fine for a few baits, you would want to purchase a Lil Blue Bender if you are going to be making alot of them, much faster and makes it perfect everytime. Owner Cutting Point, best hook ever made, 'nuff said.
PaBasser
I agree with Celt, if you are making alot of spinnerbaits you need to get the lil` blue bender. It saves alot of time and each bend is always the same. PaBasser
