Madeye
I have been making some awsome looking baits by shooting them in one colour (often pearl) and then getting a small paint brush and painting on stripes. Problem i am having is 1. i use alot of colour when painting on. 2. Becuase the colour is undiluted with platsic it is so strong that when a bait is in the packet with another bait the painted on stripes will transfer to the other bait. I made some cool looking pearl with black stripes but after some time in the packet all the baits were tottaly grey. I think if i can water down the colourants it will work better. Are they water or oil based??

powerworm
this answer is so simple...they are oil based as is the plastisol or you wouldnt be able to join the 2. the colorants will not dry just being exposed to the air before bagging; why dont you just dip them after you have applied the stripes if you feel painting them is necessary???
