Wire Forming For A Balsa Bait

I need to find the best wire former for a balsa bait for the tail hook hanger. These are through wire baits the line tie is already a ring and sfter putting the wire through the bait I dont have enough room to form the tail hook hanger... Any ideas?

I've just started building a few balsa baits with wire through construction so I'm no expert, but this is how I do it. Once I've shaped the balsa to it's final dimensions I lay one half of it onto a board and draw an outline around it. I then drive finish nails into the wood at the points on the outline where I want the line tie and hook hangers to be. The finish nails should be the same diameter you want the eyes to be. You can then bend the wire around the nails and use them to help form the loops in the wire. If your through wire doesn't pass through the bait in a straight line then just draw a line where you want the wire to run and drive nails as needed to route your wire.
