steve187
Anyone done business with or used any paints from this company: http://www.powderbuythepound.com/ I was thinking about making a purchase from another company who I thought to be reputable but just before I did I read some unfavorable publicity about them on a different forum. I think the other company is probably reputable and this person probably had some extenuating circumstances. This is likely as one never does hear both sides of the story. Anyway I was just wondering about http://www.powderbuythepound.com/ Thanks
cadman
I've heard good reports about them but have never used them. I buy commercial grade powder by bulk from about 30 companies. I do it through work, and I've yet to find a really bad powder. Not to say there isn't one. If you're going to pay a $1/pound I would question that. But $6/lb on regular colors is about the average going rate. Let us know how it works out. PM sent.
bass100
I buy most of my powder from them. I have had no problems that wasn't resolved. If you get a powder that doesn't flow as smoothly in a fluid bed as it should, they will take care of it. I use 12 colors from them and there is one color that is not as durable and that is hot pink. Other than that I am 100% satisfied. Also if you are looking for popular fishing colors like green pumpkin it will not be listed as such, you are better off looking for the RAL #. They will use the colors true name and not its fishing name. I believe green pumpkin is yellow olive. A RAL # is a number that is used to denote a recipe for a color. In other words if a color has a RAL # any company can make that color, but if a color does not have a RAL# you may be stuck getting that color from that one supplier because other companies may not be able to match the color. LedHed
I use them and like their products and service. They have some great additives to work with also. Down side is that you have to buy by the pound.
bass100
Actually you can buy by the half pound. Usually the only ones you have to buy by the pound is the ones on sale.
