I bought some from Barlow's last year, and was very disappointed. Barlow's now is offering premium blades at a cheaper price, but I dont want to order again and have problems. Any thoughts is appriciated. thanks, George I am going to be looking for some larger blades soon. What was the issue with Barlow's? Price? Quality? Selection? I have dealt with them for years and they have been pretty good. Not the cheapest but I haven't had any problems. Munkin Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 There are 3 major wholesale blades manufacture on the market: Lakeland Worth Hagen's These are the big 3 and Janns, Barlows, etc. buy from them. I looked into all 3 for blades for my lure company and decided on Lakeland. All 3 sent me samples of their best gold and silver blades. While the people at Hagen's were great with customer service their blade finish just wasn't as good. Worth and Lakeland were very close with the finish but I altimately chose Lakeland because they can do premium copper and black nickel finishes.
