Jig Man
I was shooting tubes today and got in a hurry on one set. I didn't have one of the clamps tight enough and the injector wasn't smooth enough so I gave it a good plunge. Now I have pumpkin seed plastic from my chest down to my shoes. I'd really like to save the jeans. How do it go about getting this stuff out and not ruining my wife's iron and ironing board or washer and dryer? rugbyfisherman
Try freezing the jeans. This should help getting the plastic off. I would probably scrap the jeans unless they were Armani
FuzzyGrub
Thankfully, it did not find any exposed skin. A testimony for everyone to never forget the safety equipment. We all can get in a hurry, tired, etc, and easy for something to happen. Glad to hear it is only a clothes cleaning problem.

nova
Similar thing happened to me a long time ago. Never thought about freezing. After that I got a denim type material and made an apron. If the pants don't clean up you can always make them into an apron. At least they won't go to waste. www.novalures.com Edited January 9, 2011 by nova
