I just started to make lures this winter, though I've thought about doing it from the age of 9 (36 yrs. ago). I started by making bucktail jigs, the first ones not just ugly, but hideous. So I called them Buggers. They not only look bad, but casted poorly, too. But to my suprise, I caught a fish on the first cast. Now they look better,(even to the point of being marketable) And to date have produced fish on every outing, including a 7 pounder(bass), my largest ever! So that is why I am here.
