beckavet
Having read numerous threads on veins and tri-colors I am still not ceretain if these are done with hand pours &/or injection also on one piece &/or 2 piece molds. Bass-Boys
I would think a tri color would have to be Hand Poured & with a 1 pc open pour mold.

Smallie
Having read numerous threads on veins and tri-colors I am still not certain if these are done with hand pours &/or injection also on one piece &/or 2 piece molds. Thanks for the help There is a lot of information on this site that was developed as the hand pouring hobby evolved from pouring into open faced molds and then two piece molds to injecting plastic into two piece molds. Not all techniques are compatible and the only way you will understand the differences is to keep reading and asking questions.
smallmouthaholic
TRI colored, injected tubes are an easy reality using Bear's injected tube mold and his blending block 1- Inject the tube as a two color laminate 2- Dip the head of the tube in a different color and you'll now have a tri-colored,laminated tube. Simple, easy and very effective
smallmouthaholic
You can also create some exciting,3 color injected grubs and worms using the aforementioned method. A very strong and tear resistant grub/worm head w/out affecting the tail action will be an added bonus Edited January 15, 2011 by smallmouthaholic
Largehead Louie
On the injected trick worms, you can also pour 1 color in the belly of the worms, close the mold, and (using the Blending Block), then inject 2 other colors. This gives a very nice tri-color lam. Coreshots have also been discussed here. Tyler1994 has some videos posted in the tutorial section on how to make a coreshot with an injection mold.
