kilrbil
Does anyone have a formula for RI's color called houdini? It looks pretty similar to watermelon red/black/gold flake but that was too easy...lol and didn't work at all!
powerworm
most of ri's colors are pretty simple its the flake combinations that are different; so you might be right but there salt formula throws all of their colors off somewhat. post a pic and ill help out
TTDuckman
Not sure which watermelon you are using, but the light watermelon from Del's will get you very close. Other watermelons tend to be too "straight" green. Del's is not that bright green color. Tim
Frank
The color is MF watermelon brown. Light on the color and it will look just like it. Here is a pic of the color.

Richard Prager
I've always used Wateremleon w/small red, black and gold holo. Most variations should work just fine. It is no magic color. Just another Watermelon Red which is about the most fish catchingest color. That bait in that color has had a designated rod for the last couple of years! powerworm
looks like a laminate as well richard doesnt it? looks like a plain smoke pepper?
rugbyfisherman
The color looks very different on the beaver. I always add translucent yellow to pumpkinseed, hollow gold flake, fine red, larger black flake. I then add pearl powder to the color and pour the top part of the bait in that. looks like a laminate as well richard doesnt it? looks like a plain smoke pepper? Frank
My color was macthed to the actual bait and if it had white background it would be the same. You have to add salt to get that look also. Frank

I've also been working on designing web sites more lately too. Cabin fever is setting in so I'm back to pouring again though! Now back to the regularly scheduled post...
