Presto Pot

Recommended Posts

Thinking of beginning the hobby of pouring plastic baits. I was wondering what everyone thought about the presto pot with the stirring feature sold by Bears. Is there a better route for me to take? I was also considering a dual injector sold by one of the other companies in case I wanted to pour laminated baits. I want to begin pouring a few plastic worms, twister tails, etc. Thought I might buy a couple of each type mold. Am I going in the right direction with this? I don't want to hand pour. That seems to be a little more difficult and messy. I don't know about the microwave thing either. I don't like the idea of having to re-heat and have to handle hot plastic any more than necessary. At any rate, I would greatly appreciate any input or advice you may have. I already tie jigs and pour lead, so why not try this. This is just for a hobby and not a business. Thanks!

If I were you I would just get a pyrex cup, few cheap molds and a small starter kit. Alot of people spend the money and don't like it after they start pouring. Usally pick up used pots and molds on the selling area for people getting out of it.

If you really really like it. I will sell you all my plastic pouring goods so i can get new. Just bring around at least $5,000 to start lol. Just kidding not planning on quitting anytime soon.
