Pitbull Baits
When you add salt you are adding weight to the plastic so it sinks. For adding salt I use a 1/4 cup to a cup and half. Its really up to you how much you use. I think some people use 2 cups plastic and one cup salt.
saggitarius449
This is just a general stick baits recipe that alot of people follow: 1 cup plastic 1/4 cup softener 1/2 cup salt I myself do not like to use that much salt, i use about 1/4 cup to a cup of plastic. Just use this as a general guideline and tweak it a little yourself until you get a recipe you like. Like pitbull said it makes your baits sink the more salt the faster it will sink. I dont know if the fish like it as much a the fishermen do. Some say that the fish will hang onto it longer, I guess its just your preference.
