FuzzyGrub
I will be pouring some of my own lead this year. Probably will not be warm enough until March though. I have a new Lee Production Pot IV along with 4 new Do-IT molds. I have the graphite mold release spray for the molds. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to spray the valve and the sides of the pot before 1st use. Or will it cause the valve to be more prone to leaks? My personal opinion on that is to not do it. It will be of little value, because as soon as you fill the pot with lead the heat from the lead being in the pot will probably burn it off leaving you where you originally started. JMO Thanks Ted, that makes sense.
