onlyonmonday
I suggest all pages need to be so NO scrolling to be done to the right.. Up and down try to hold to a minimum..
GB GONE
I know you are still working on the site George but ditto on the last comment. Also, I checked most of the soft plastic pages and noticed there was no pricing or # per bag. Doing your site is always a challenge but keep at it and you will get to a point where you are happy with it! Jim
GDille
Thanks guys, Which pages do you have problems with the left and right scroll? I have a bigger computer screen so it fits mine.
RayburnGuy
I'm not 100% sure so don't scream at me if I'm wrong, but I think the left/right scrolling thing has to do with whatever the resolution setting your monitor is set on. GDille
I talked to my mom who actually knows what she's doing with web design, and she said its a bit of both, I will make it so the default for the pages fits just right on a 15" monitor, on anything larger it will have a bit of extra space on the edges. i just get real narrow minded after working on a big thing for a long time. thanks for the input guys George
Pitbull Baits
Best tip I can give you since I am reding my site right now is. Take a step back leave it alone for a day or two. You get all kinds of new ideas when your not stairing at it for 8 hours.Plus you can work a few problems out your having trouble with without getting frustrated. Vodkaman
You cannot design to suit everybody. You design for the majority. My computer is six years old and your web site works fine on it. If you reduce the width, then the majority are going to have gaps down the side. Jerry did this for a while with the TU screen and it was a real pain. Either looks good for the majority or you cater for the minority. You choose. onlyonmonday
To add my thoughts are to also surf.. Take a time out and kids to take note of other sites.. What they like and hate of a site.. To clutter, not enough.. What is BAD navigation, or placement.. Go to sports sites, university sites, gaming sites, ETC to see the neighborhood.. With me and honey being disabled (Dam I HATE that word) We also need a site done for the many things we do.. Anyone interested in helping to get a site built ??
