MadManz
Guys, A wise man told me to expect to use a lot of plastic and make TONS of mistakes when trying to match a color. ALL TRUE BTW.... However he did not tell me how BLEEPING mad I would be when going through all this plastic and still not getting the color I want. It is a BLEEPING good thing Black and what ever fleck is popular here in Ohio I will have lots of it!. So I turn to the ever wise TU crowd for help. I am using ALL Bears colors to achieve Rootbeer Pepper Green from Zoom. Anyone PLEASE if you can get me a recipe..... I have a LOT of BLACK/green flake baits Thanks! jesse1378
if you are using all bears colors, a good place to start would be bears forum. start with 4 oz of plastic and ad drops one at a time until the color is what you want. write down. then flake at will sometime the flake changes the color so you could always flake first if you wanted. i have his rootbeer color as well and i'm sure you could match it on your fisrt try. if you cant post on bears forum somebody already has a recipe i'm sure. Looks like base color Amber Brown, not sure if he carries that color. LC does if he doesn't and that would give you a darn close match prior to flake being added... powerworm
i can match that color with bears rootbeer you just have to use more than 2 cups to get it diluted right. start with at least 2 cupes of hot plastic add your flake then add colorant 1 drop at a time and you will nail it spot on
alsworms
I'm not familiar with Bear's colors, but I can tell you that base color looks identical to MF's Transparent Brown. Good luck!

I m no pro, but my opinion (I have all LC colorants) Lemon Yellow and Rootbeer...When I match colors, I use only a couple of ounces and when i get it I just multiply my number for a pot full...
