Dirt-Town-Dawg
BTW, I've already searched the board for an answer, but still confused. I don't want the plastic to explode on me, so please tell me whether it is safe to add the scent I bought from Bears directly to the hot plastic prior to pouring, or even to the cool plastic prior to heating. Thanks.
mikolay87
Yes you can add scent to hot plastic. I used to but now I just put it in the bag when I package them

bryanmc
Thank you. As long as your scent is oil based and not water based it's ok to add it to hot plastic, regardless who made it.
smallmouthaholic
Be careful w/ water based scents as they can make the plastic boil. You can use them but add sparingly to hot plastisol.
fred27
DO NOT used water based anything with plastisol. Even moisture from the air alone can and will have an adverse effect on plastisol. The water will boil and pop the plastisol all over and will cause burns.
