smalljaw
Once you tie the rubber to your jig or spinnerbait, you hold the end and pull to put tension on the rubber, once you have tension you slowly cut across and the strands should seperate. wadsword
Thank's smalljaw! I'd read something like that, but it didn't mention about the tention. Once you get the strands separated, you can use a small pocket comb to further separate the strands. I use it on my silicon skirts that I make, and it really removes the clumps of strands that sometimes form. I use the larger side of the comb first, then finish it with the finer side. Best Wishes.
