Big Boy Baits
Hey guys, I have been wanting to try something new, but don't know where to start. I want to pour a 1 piece POP mold with the belly and the back different colors. I have tried pouring a small bit in the belly, letting it cool, then pouring the second color in after it, but it does not form a good enough seal. Any tips? A picture of the bait that this all applies to is attached.
Richard Prager
Don't let the plastic cool. Try to pour the second color within 20-30 seconds after the first. You are not getting a good bond. The plastic has to be hot.

toadfrog
If you want to do a swirl try a divided cup . If you can find a couple of test tubes or long skinny type beakers you scan stick them together with high temp silicone . Fill them with different colors and different levels so that your base color empties just as the top color starts out of the tube. That way you can heat both colors at the same time and pour them.
