fishingworm
you aren't mixing the plastic well enough. SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE I'm sorry I cannot let that pass - it is bs - the plastic should be sticky when you remove the bait unless the plastic is total crap

SHK
I'm sorry I cannot let that pass - it is bs - the plastic should be sticky when you remove the bait unless the plastic is total crap who told you that? Make sure the plastic is well mixed and get your self an infrared thermometer and make sure you are hitting the 350 degree range when heating. gone2long
95% of the time it is the plastic settled and needs to be mixed, as stated shake the hoot out of it and when you think its mixed shake some more. I've pulled baits out of my molds while still setting up and there not sticky.
Delw
Sticky plastic generally means your plastic isnt mixed enough. what happens is the hardener settles and the softener is on top. so you get to much softener causing a sticky plastic. then your plastic will get progressivly harder the more you use of it do to ,not the right amount of softener in it. and too much hardener will also give you a sticky bait. other things that can make a plastic sticky is what type of additives you put in it, mainly has to do with some scents.
