Largehead Louie
Just curious, I just got a new airbrush set, and was wondering what the best paint is for airbrushing soft plastics lures? Any and all suggestions are truly greatly appreciated.
Pitbull Baits
Lure Craft sells them pretty cheap and a good sized bottle.
Frank
Actually it is a good time to ask this Question again. Lure craft has some and they work well. But there is a new player now with spikeit. They have came out with some and have more of a color selection, I believe it is the same price or real close. Real toxic stuff you will need good ventilation. Buy there retarder to slow the drying process it still drys fast but gives you a little more time to get it just right. Frank
MuskyGary
Frank, Is that the worm and chunk it paint?
carolinamike
Spike-It is definitely the place for worm paint. Spike-It and Lureworks are new to the hand pour part of the plastic industry, but they've been around a long, long time and are major suppliers for the big plastic companies in the industry. As far as whether it being worm paint or chunk paint, it's plastic paint period. It can be used on worms, chunks, lizards, swim baits, I guess it all depends on your airbrush skills.
