Thad
I read on here that some people use DAP 100% Silicone for making molds, specifically Rusty's tutorial. My Walmart didn't have any of the silicone stuff. Do you think there DAP Kwik Seal caulk could work? I have Bondo Fiberglass Resin to use but was just curious about this. http://www.dap.com/product_details.aspx?BrandID=22&SubcatID=
mark poulson
I don't think that's the same stuff. You need silcone sealer, not siliconized caulking. The original was G.E. Clearseal, and it was developed by G.E. for NASA, for the space program in the '60s.

Vodkaman
Here is a comprehensive thread on the subject, by Husky (thanks): http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/16783-diy-an-instant-12-rd-rtv-silicone-mold-for-under-a-buck/page__p__127270__fromsearch__1#entry127270 Contains everything you need to know. It is a long read (10 pages), but worth it. Dave
