dubelures
: Has anyone compared the Bogg's Tackle Maker (+/-$50) with the Hagen Prof. Tackle Maker (+/- $100)? I would like to make a few thousand spinners a year, and can't continue using the small Worth wire bending tool. My fingers won't last the season. Can anyone give me some advise on the durability and user friendlyness of each ? Or does anyone have alternative tools that will do a similar job of making open ended wire shafts, and end-eyelets. Thank you for your help! Shawn
Party Crasher
I have the Boggs and it works fine. Honestly, I am faster with a round nose pliers ($9.99 Craftsman).
Little Sal
I have both, started off with Boggs, and moved on to Hagen's, I like the Hagens better. It is easier for me to use. Nothing wrong with Boggs, I just prefer the Hagen's, I think it worth the extrta $. Little Sal
Reelcharacter
Am new to this do-it-yourself tackle scheme of things and would like to get up to speed with making wire spinner baits. Any suggestions on how to sources? Thanks, -Reelcharacter
Wire bender
I use the small Worth tool but I don't bend as much wire as you are planning on doing.
