Which Plastisol

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have been viewing and reading the posts for a few months and have been pouring for a few months also. I was wondering how I choose a plastic. I have used only one, got it as a gift as a starters kit alumisol (Larry Dahlberg kit) and I want to get more definitley a softer plastic.

How do I figure out which one is best for me, like I said I want to pour softer plastics just for my own and my fishing partner's use. I use LC colors and want the best plastic for pouring and lasting since some of it will be around for next year's use.

Thanks for any help, and to anyone who posts on this site thanks for all the tips and pointers helping me to get started much more efficiently than if I was pouring and hoping on my own.

I've tried most of them. Some I am sorry I bought. I have had the best luck with M-F mainly because I do not have to scrape hardner off the bottom of the 5 gal. jug. I buy in 5 gal and repour into one gal jugs. M-F is a little more expensive but I like it a lot. I am not knocking anyone elses plastic - just telling you which one I prefer.

IMHO:

Lureworks #1

Chemionics- distant 2nd.

#3- Everything else.

That being said, you are going to get 100 different responses to your question. The biggest factor seems to be personal preference. Different folks have the brands they are confident in. Other folks will think that brand is the worst on the market.
