davefarley98
A few weeks ago I posted that I needed some help with injectIng ringworms because I was getting incomplete fills on the rings of the worms. A representative was kind enough to send me a sample of their plastisol to try and let me tell you that it is terrific stuff! I was very impressed with how easy it was to inject. It is very clear and low odor. Since I started using the plastisol I haven't injected one bad worm. I will definitely be ordering from them again. I'm also gonna order some of the hard to dip tubes with. If it's as good as the soft I'm sure I'll be satisfied. They also have great customer service which I feel is hard to come by nowadays. I urge everyone to give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

I was wondering if the pourasol would work ok with an injector...I know they have injectasol...I have no idea what they do to make the different plastics... I thought I read not to long ago here that the injectasol was de-aired plastisol and was geared to injection machines with heat exchangers? GB GONE
The difference is the quality of the resins in each type. More expensive resins cause the end product to be more expensive but easier to use on more applications. Glad to hear your success!!!!!!! Was it Pourasol you used? GB GONE
I've been using it for months, pretty good! Can you compare the medium to that of M-F medium or LC medium? I definitely don't want anything softer for flipping baits and swims. Jim
mark poulson
I've been using it for months, pretty good! Do you have a link for the plastic? I've googled it, and found nothing. Never mind. Jim answered me already on another thread. Edited April 7, 2011 by mark poulson
BBK
http://www.ispikeit....-plastisol.aspx I cant compare it, as I have not used medium from MF.. but I have used 502 from LC and it is about the same, maybe a touch harder. pourasol soft is right between calhoun super soft and chem soft. I would say LC 502 is right in line with the chemonics soft I have used. I heard if you ask lureworks for a sample they will send you some to try.. might want to do that if you are serious about trying it. carolinamike
Guys I've got to help Dave out on this one. Dave you were sent a sample of a new plastisol product. It's Lureworks, if I'm not mistaken, Easy Flow Plastisol. This plastisol has been specially formulated for baits such as ringworms and other plastic baits that have small appendages or real tight cavities. From what I understand, this is a thinner formula, you can give Lureworks a call and they can give you more details about it. This is also something else that you folks need to keep in mind, that if needed, Lureworks can produce a plastisol for a specific bait. I've been talking to them, now for a little while about handpour folks and you would be amazed at the things they're wanting to bring on the market. There's a great table top machine in the works right now, I know for sure. Several different colors of highlights, that aren't available to handpour folks and not to mention so many other things that right now I just can't talk about. The more profitable it is for these folks, the more stuff they're going to willing to bring out. You know it's funny, you think you've seen it all and then you come to realize that you haven't even seen half of it yet. I can't wait to see what these folks have in store. FuzzyGrub
Anyone else having phone connection problems trying to reach Lureworks? I tried a number of times this last week (cell and land line) but kept getting a "not enough connections" voice mail from the phone company. I did get through once, but as luck would have it, Bruce was at lunch.
Mountain Man 26
The clearity is good. I poured some clear worms with holographic and blue flake last night and they looked really good. As for floating, the soft floats great. I made a craw mold that is about 5in and weights well over an ounce. It is a beast and it floated when i threw it into the fish tank. As for the hard it is not as boyant. But I have to say the soft seems very strong yet very very soft. Seems like it will hold up well. the bubbles are not bad at all but like i said this is the only brand i have used. Mike Had not read this one yet. Sorry. carolinamike
Mountain Man, yes I'm sure the easy flow plastic will float. You'll find there's very few salt water plastic or hard plastic baits that do float. Most of your soft and medium soft will float will the soft being your highest floaters. But if you add salt, or a whole, whole lot of flake, you will lose bouyancy. Fuzzy Grub, when you call Lureworks, use ext. 106. If Bruce does not answer, then leave him a message and he will get back in touch with you. If it's urgent, then you can go to ext. 101 and ask Tammy or Katie if Bruce is around and can take a phone call right now. Bruce has already probably forgotten more about plastic than what we all know put together about plastic.
