davefarley98
Does anyone know if the RWST mold from del's has an air pocket so it will float or so you can add a rattle? This mold is similar to a hags tornado or a Stanley sidewinder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Dixieland Tackle
No it does not. We are the ones who designed the mold and had Del make it for us. The main problem with the mold is the mold does not fit together properly and each ring on the bait needs to be trimmed by hand making it a time consuming injection mold. Where each ring protrudes, there is nothing to stop it and the plastic continues to flow making making dental floss type of hairs on each ring. I had the 5.5 RWST from Del and did not have any "hairs" or any trimming to do on them. Maybe your molds were early ones. You do have to inject it s-l-o-w though. And DT is correct, no void in the bait. Although if you don't top off the sprue after shooting it can leave one for you.
