tclark
I'm looking for a good baby brush hog type mold in a 2-piece hand pour. Del has an intriguing one that has straight tails rather than the curly tails--what's the action like on those things? The description says the bait has a lot of action but the tails seem awful straight. I kinda like the look of them on the computer but the molds are just too dang expensive to order one and not like it! Anyone have that mold? Here it is: http://www.del-mart.com/shop/product.php?productid=17035&cat=260&page=
bassgeek
Haven't used it. Basstackle has an injected one and I think the tails are curved. Don't have a lot of plastics experience but you may not be able to do (or find) a hand poured one with curved tails in a 2 piece mold. I do want to get something like this eventually but I think I'll have to get injectors as well. Curious to see what the more experience plastics guys say. bass100
Del also has the regular brush hogs also. They are on his site with the ones you were talking about.
tclark
I wondered how the little appendages would fill on baits like that; sounds like injection is the way to go although I'd prefer to not have to buy more crap! I guess that's how it goes though. Still like to hear what the action's like on that bait if anyone has used it.
Frank
If you want tails like ther original you probably will have to go with injection because the tails are real thin and would be tough to pour. Basstackle has a dead on one and quite a variety of variations. Free shipping is a big plus as you will have to buy an injector but it will help with the cost. His mold really shoots a nice looking bait. Frank

I have both the hand pour and injection of these molds. Hand pouring the 2 cavity molds doesnt turn out well so I inject them. Put the injector on the top of the sprue and LIGHTLY inject. Works perfect.
