Good luck. inside a storm shad or any weighted plastic swimbait is that holographic film. when you had the thing open it looks just like something you would get at Micheal's or like a thin mylar sheet wrapped around the lead to keep it from seperating from the plastic. If you Google "Mylar" you will see that it has service temps that range from 250 to 450 degree Fahrenheit and one site said the melting point is 500 degrees F.
