haxx5300
I am curious what everybody uses for plugs in your weedguard hole on a football jig through molding and painting. I've read about many different options but am a beginner and want something that will be relatively easy to work with and minimize paint chipping upon removal. I would think any metal would promote this issue and am not sure what else would hold up to the heat. Any info would be great.
sdsaw
1/8" wooden dowel, cut into 1" pieces... paint will start to build up on them as you use them Better yet, get some of Cadman's plastic pins... these are cleanable of the built up powder paint To prevent chipping, remove the pin before the powder paint hardens
haxx5300
Hopefully cadman will chime in here then. Does anybody know where one might be able to buy an ⅛" plastic dowel?? Was it cadman that said something about nylon pins in a previous post??

Was it cadman that said something about nylon pins in a previous post?? I just came home and saw your post. Yes it was me that posted about nylon pins that I use for pouring and painting. Muti-purpose and this makes it so much easier than using metal pins. Soooooooo if you want more info on this I have them. PM me your e-mail and I will get you all the info on how to use them effectively.
haxx5300
Apparently my phone is a POS for using this site fully so here's my email. sjlitchfield@Gmail.com. I am also curious on some technique tips you might be willing to share with me on your multicolored heads. I will be getting a hobby sandblaster soon and have heard good things about that but is your technique different?? Any info/help would be appreciated. Thanks much in advance.
