deadlystreamer Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 Hey Gang, I just happened to hop on this site from my Wife's PC and low and behold there I was as showing "signed in" and "on" Whooops!! Because I got in the habit of not signing out, Now with my satellite connection I am always on even when I'm not here. I will try to remember to sign out when I'm not here. You can stay logged on for as long as you want. you dont have to log off unless your pc is on the page. when you leave the page you are still not logged in to the site. when you come back your cookies tells the pc that you are still logged in. The reason is my computer is on all the time, even when I closed all my windows today on my machine and went to my Wife's PC and opened TU without signing in I was still showing up as signed in on the top of the page where my in green letters says "deadlystreamer" Go figure.. Where it makes a difference to me is when I come on and click the "read post since my last visit" I get the screen that says "no new post" but when I scroll down there are a bunch of them. Have you tried clearing your cookies in both pcs? I do that often and it seems to work. I noticed that when I come on late at night that you werent on so I figured I would let ya know. It could be a cookie thing on both PC's. I usually delete cookies every other day, because I get a slew of them. I know why I don't show up late at night. Heck I don't show up late at night anywhere.
