bassrecord
Has anyone observed air tight or not air tight packaging (clam shell, poly bag, cello bag, paper bag, paper box, etc.) interacting (sticking, discoloring, wrinkling, etc.) with DN S81, S82 or S83 (before cured, adequate cured or over cured)? Dick’s new products and reformulations have been out for several months now and if any is going to interact with anything, it’s my guess the interaction should have started showing up by now. Even though it may take months or years for any interaction to be discovered and analyzed, I'd like to know ASAP and take action as necessary. Thanks for looking. John. tekoutdoors.co
I use S81 and never had a problem with it. I know the one you can thin down with water takes a long time to cure so those may have to sit for weeks before those get shipped out. dicknite
That's an EXCELLENT question, John! We have been packaging Dick Nite Spoons with both Skin-Packing and Blister Packs for 15 years (maybe more??) with the old style S81 and never had a problem. The "New" S81 is so close to exactly the same as the "old", I can't imagine a problem. The S82 and S83, however, have never been tested for this - we did worm and tackle box testing, but not blisters... Look forward to any responses either way - Thanks John! Dick Dick, My sample of SRTC came with an amber tint, and gives an amber cast to whatever I dip in it. Is that the way it is supposed to look?
