mark poulson
Does anyone here know a formula for Gary's watermelon? I don't care which brand of color, just let me know and I'll get it. I just want to get that deeper watermelon color he has. I have some Lurecraft light watermelon, and tried adding a couple of drops of black, but all that seemed to do is muddy up the green. Add Junebug a drop at a time to get the darkness yoou want.

Frank
I think MF watermelon is way closer but LC watermelon is real strong and hard to make transperant like that. Let me know and I can send you some of both to see what you think. I have Bears to if you like. If you want mess around try adding blue and just a tick of yellow to darken it up. Whos black do you have? If it is LCs it is strong and real hard to make it dark and keep it transperant. Red Yellow and blue can make any color you want just differant amounts. Black and white to shade. Frank
mark poulson
I have both Lurecraft and Del's colors. The black is really black. It never dawned on me that I could adjust the green with blue and yellow, like I do when I paint hard baits. Doh!!! Thanks for the help. I'll let you know how it works out.
