I've been playing with blue, chartruse, and white, but I can't get it right. If you go the softbait gallery and look through my pics you will see a 3 color stick done that way. The blue is simply 4oz. plastic with a couple drops of LCblue and some LC blue pearl powder. I don't know if that is light enough for you or not; but it gives a nice chrome finish to the bait.
