Due to the amount of lures I am making, I started buying premolded lips and grinding them to fit the width of the lure. I have made metal patterns for grinding to shape. Thank new at this...CUT IT TO FIT PAINT IT TO MATCH. I am not sure what you are asking : I do cut lips out from scratch as well and they are to fit, but paint to match? I do sometimes paint the lips with the bait: I hope I answered you questions. If not, please ask more for clarification. Regards Chip p.s.
