BigRedfish
I found a number of companies online that sell Hidebrandt spinners but can't locate the company that actually manufactures them. Anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know of a company that makes a wire form that is close to the Hildebrandt Idaho Spinner? It appears they thread the clevis and blade onto a straight shaft and then make the final bend, forming the loop (line tie). Does anyone know of a automated tool that can do this do this? The gaol is to minimize labor behind a hand bender. Thoughts? Any light you could shed on these topics would be greatly appreciated.
smalljaw
Yakima owns the name now along with Poes, Wordens Rooster Tail, and others. I think you can buy something close to that Idaho spinner, I believe it may have been Barlows that had straight wire shafts with a snap like that. Fatman
I make my own with a hand wire bender, I made about 100 in 2 hours the other night, you can make them straight or do a loop and make beetle spin frames also. Fatman
