dsmblack
I was wondering what to do if I heat larger amounts of plastic, how to keep hot. for example heating up a quart at a time. I currently use pyrex and a micro. I have heard about people keeping it on a hot plate. Any suggestions are welcome.
Jig Man
I don't do that much at a time but I put my pyrex cup back in the micro while I am waiting for the molded plastic to setup. I give it a 30 second shot and stir it to check out its viscosity.
powerworm
PRESTO POT IS GOOD FOR UP TO 6 QUARTS
Frank
Just did that tonight. I had a quart pyrex and only heated it once and set it in a griddle. I boosted the heat by remelting sprues and adding them back in. Hot plate is an open element and heat might be a bit to much. Just to let you know I filled six molds 8 times so it did take awhile.
