I recently ordered a carving knife and a sharpening strop from Smoky Mountain Wood Carvers. The link was provided to me by Lincoya. (thanks Gene) It was shipped Monday and received Wednesday of the same week. I used a money order to make payment, but forgot to add shipping costs. They called me when they received my order and told me I had forgotten to add the shipping costs. Most companies dealing with a first time customer would hold the order until payment had been made for the shipping costs, but the folks at Smoky Mountain were nice enough to go ahead and ship my order. That kind of service is almost unheard of in this day and age. They have a great selection of tools and supplies and the best service I've experienced in a long time. If you have need for any of these types of tools or supplies be sure to check them out.
