Just use coarse salt; which 100% pure, and grind that up. That's the cheapest way to go. I always bought my salt at Publix. Mortens Piclking Salt in the green box. No grinding, no flouring Just open the box and pour out the conents! It really doesn't matter where you get the salt. The finer you grind it, the more opaque the bait will be. It's the crystals that reflectt/refract light. Grind up those crystals and that will no longer happen. The baits might tear up a little easier but I personally like a translucent bait. Also, if you flour your salt, then the only flake that will be seen is what is on the outside of the bait.
