What Makes Watermelon?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to figure out what to add to plain green to get watermelon.

I use Bear's, Del's, and LC colors, but I'm thinking it really doesn't matter which brand.

I guess what I'm asking is what to add to any green to get watermelon.

I'm also wondering how red flake will affect the color? I know it gives an oxblood worm a reddish hue, so does it do the same for watermelon, and do I have to counter that with another color?

Thanks. Sounds like I should do the watermelon without the brown first, add the red flake, and see how that looks.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I just had my youngest, who has had her learners permit for two weeks, drive us over to her friends house.

I need a nap, or a shot! Probably both.

Jeff,

I taught my three boys to drive, and my older daughter, so I should be used to this by now.

But it never gets any easier. Especially with this child, who is strong willed and stuborn. I wonder where she got that from?

She's a careful driver so far, and pays attention, so I am sure she'll make a good driver eventually.

I just hope I live to see it.
