I just started looking into the hobby, and i'm having trouble settling on a plastic to order. Lurecraft.com #502 seems like a good start, but ive never been one to buy something without shopping around. In hindsight, it was a good choice, very foolproof for the beginner. I did find myself adding a fair amount of softner to it the more comfortable I got, so since, I have been ordering the 536.
