Chaos For 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 I was repainting one of my LC Wake Tails and managed to get clear coat on the back prop. You can't really see it, but it's not spinning anywhere near as smoothly as before. It was auto clear, I've been cutting all around the prop with an xacto but can't seem to fix it. Any suggestions? BobP Posted July 16, 2011 Report Share Posted July 16, 2011 I use a small 1mm drill bit chucked in a Dremel to remove excess clearcoat from lures and it works better than a knife. You can also dip the prop/shaft in acetone and use high pressure air on it to spin it rapidly. That may clear the problem. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
