Mags
I know Do-it changed the molded end of the screwlock. The old ones just have a 90 degree bend. The new are curved back 180 degrees. I poured a bunch with the old screwlock and they get loose or fall out after one fish. Are the new style any better or is there a better solution for keeping these in? Or for that matter a better screwlock, say a heavier wire?
cadman
I have never used the old 90 degree screwlocks so I can't say. However I have sold a boatload of the ones with the new screwlocks and have not had any complaints.
toadfrog
Take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the tag end of the screw that goes in the head so it will have more gripping power. I make my own screws , There is a how to posted somewhere in the forum files . I think it was under another nutty Idea.
Mags
Thanks. I'll bend the old ones until I am out and use the new. It is a great head for shakey fishing.

Mags
Tried the new screw locks from Do-It. T>hey hold like a rock. I also noticed they are heavier wire than the originals.

Mags
Anyone have a good source for these besides the retail tackle making places (Barlows, Janns etc)? I can get 10K made for $350 (minimum order), but I don't need that many and don't want to spend that much. If someone wants to split an order let me know. This is a great shakey head. Munkin
The older ones worked better for me as the new ones are a PITA trying to get them to sit in the mold. Allen
