patrick reif
I really need a 3/16oz football jig mold, but can't find a production mold in that weight, and can't afford to have one custom carved. 1/8oz is too light, and 1/4oz is too heavy I bought a 1/8oz round head mold and think I can Dremel out the desired weight with the fat grinding cone that came in my Dremel bit package. Anyone done this? Anything you can think of that will help?

Grinding stones will load up with aluminum shavings and wear down giving you deformity in the cavities . Controlling a dremel with accuracy is as hard as pushing a wet rope. Just my 2 cents worth of experience .
Jig Man
Ditto on the drill press. I have done it both ways and the drill press and some tape marking is a lot easier to work with.
