what brand of scent are you using just been getting started with the packaging. i have tried bang, yum and lure works . which bang and yum are just some i got over the counter.i really wasnt exspecting the scent to be a problem.just got the lure works scent and it seems to be doing better, but figured you guys could help with my trail and error
Bass-Boys
the lure works should work good for you. the over the counter stuff is for putting on the baits as you fish um not for storage.
bass100
Check out Upper Hand Scents. His scents are made for packaging and he has a large variety at a fair price.
SHK
Check out Upper Hand Scents. His scents are made for packaging and he has a large variety at a fair price. His will dry out and get thick and sticky, and i find it looses its potency after a short while. I use Bear's, Far Far Far more potent, will not dry up and get sticky or anything and doesnt loose its strength. Either Bear's, Lure Craft's or Lurework's should be good. dont soak them, just a couple drops
daveh
if you like garlic bears is the stuff. will not harden your baits or loose strength. and bass love it.

SHK
thats the ting. i AM trying to soak them in bag.about the amount that berkley gulps has in there bags dont, theirs is a water based scent, so it doesnt make an absolute mess of things. if you try doing that with an oil based scent you will make a giant mess to deal with. the scents I listed are incredibly potent and dont require alot of scent (therefore costing less per bag) All that is needed is a few drops per bag. In my opinion, if you want the same as gulp, buy it. If you want a better bait, make it.
