I'm ok with whatever you guys decide on for shipping dates.

SCB - Don't be dissapointed with your effort on the last swap. The swaps are a great way to get to see everyone's baits, packaging etc. It gives everyone a chance to experience a small 'production run' too. Its not really about skill levels, except maybe to push oneself to produce the best baits you can, to display to other tackle makers. After a few swaps its neat to note how the regulars skills have evolved.

AMen!!!! All you guys sent some cool baits last swap. Here is Mi. they are still in my lure holder waiting for the bass season to open. I have this neat case with clear plastic holders in it and I have never used it. It's full now. I should insure it. LOL I'm watching this swap and I'm not in this one. But sure would like a picture of all the baits before they get sent out. How about it Jim? B)

Nope CJ, Got to pass. I'm super busy now with the Trout season opening here in Mi on the 24th of April. I might even get a chance to hit the water on opening morning. wonder if I can get a heater inside my waders the way it's been here in this State, I'll have to chip the ice off my rod tip before each cast.

You guys have fun and enjoy the swap.

Hey guys

Fairly new to TU but have really enjoyed the wealth of info. I am a custom volume manufacturer in Ontario and would enjoy participating in the swap. I have over 150 molds but would like to get some of my new designed magic heads in a few hands to get some feedback. I also do some new custom rattling jigs so would be willing to make up some nice sets. As much as I want/ need feedback I'm also looking for distribution points to help promote some of these new items. As you all know making a great product is one thing but marketing is a whole different world. I still rely on word of mouth since that million dollar check hasn't cleared just yet. No problem if you already have things in gear but keep me in mind for the next round. Thanks --Chris

Thanks for accepting me on this swap. I have to ship a bunch of ebay auctions out early next week so I can get this together fairly quick. Shipping from up here takes awhile anyway . I have no problem waiting till everything is all set with everyone else. By the way a bunch of those auctions are going really low since I started them at 1 cent. http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=mitchsminner&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50.

I will be sending a few finished items and a few unpainted to see what you guys can do on some of these lures as well. Just let me know where to send and any other info . Thanks again---Chris

Sorry guys, this one closed when the 8th participant,Nitrolures, signed up. I plan on hosting one every 4 to 6 weeks if there is enough member interest. As far as an all Canadian swap goes, I think it is a great idea if thats what you guys want. We have a house rule here about moderators hosting swaps that are organized here and I don't mind but with redg8r or FFT's permission I am sure it can be organized on our forums....I couldn't think of a better man or more honest person to host it than Big Splash myself. Todd, pm Red and Funny Farm about this if you wanna grab the ball and run with it my friend. They will keep us straight and thats why they get paid the big bucks, LOL. I hate that we missed you guys...you both would have made great additions to this brian ranger619 makes a darn good jig, excellent paint jobs that blend and contrast really superb and he definently knows the difference between a spinnerbait skirt and a jig skirt...I know because I have a dozen or so in my box ...and I have been just aching to get my hands on some of DeVeryTY's glass lures...I may not be able to wait till the next swap for them either, but hope to catch you guys on the next one for sure.

For those in the swap: I have sent out PM's with my shipping address and stuff...let me know if you did not get my PM and I will resend it. The date to have your stuff shipped to me is May 7, 2004 (5/7/04), I have a nice big, long shelf for anyone who wants to go ahead and send theirs, it is no problem and not putting me out at all...I will ship usually a day or two after I recieve the last package from you guys. I believe a request for a total cost per participant was put on the table earlier also so what do you guys think...I am up for around a $10.00 value for each member with the focus being on quality and not quantity. Guys? JIM

$10 sounds good with me. Mine are made, assembled, packed and ready to ship. Got my boat back this past Friday so I'm ready to hit the water again. Have a big tournament this weekend, luckily it's only ten miles from my home, so I don't have to travel!

JIM,

Sent my package out today. Included a personnel check to cover the return shipping ? hope that's acceptable. Try to match my lures with what I think the other TU members can use so names were included in the bags (hope it doesn't mess up your sorting system).

Oh not at all, I look forward to seeing what you sent so your fine LedHed...everyone participating can feel free to drop a return address label in with their package also if you have one handy. I was thinking about a couple of things and welcome any feedback, I had thought of doing a spinner/buzzer combo or maybe some of my new Eakin's style jigs...what do you guys think? JIM
