SteveCT
I am brand new to this and was wondering if anyone used something in the place of worm oil to store baits. I have some I want to store but have no oil. Also, with no oil what if anything will happen to them. Thanks for any suggestions,
FishBones
I'm fairly new to this as well but I use expired cans of Pam cooking spray for oiling my molds. I've heard that they can stick together if you don't but I haven't had that happen yet, I also live in a fairly cool climate, I wouldn't trust them without oil if I still lived in the desert. I've also heard of baby oil being used. Hope that helps.

rixon529
Like a lot of subjects, this is open to debate and opinions will vary widely based on personal preference. Some say worm oil may cause stored baits to become hard. Although some use it, Baby Oil is usually shied away from - its basically mineral oil and is said to cause hardness as well. A few drops of oil based scent is usually preferred or, as Powerworm mentioned, stored in salt. Rick SE CT
