Coley Posted May 16, 2003 Report Share Posted May 16, 2003 For those of you that make wooden crankbaits this tip will save you time. If you miss drill a screw hole or have a ding or dent in your wood and want to fill and sand quickly do the following: place a drop of super glue in the hole and sprinkle some baking soda over it. Pat the soda down. shake off the excess and start sanding. This will only work on hardwood not balsa. The balsa is too soft and will sand away leaving baking soda hard knot.
